Job description

We are looking for studio manager for a busy e-commerce studio in Dublin.
The candidate will be managing up to 20 creative stylists and photographers and insuring smooth running of daily work flow of the studio.
The processes, that will have to be overseen by the studio manager include daily delivery of samples, execution of shooting brief, management of shot assets, management of the studio team, client liaison, organising daily work flow, planning of next day’s work flow.
Please note this is not a photographer role but strictly managerial role within photography industry.

Essential Skills:

Previous studio management experience
Understanding of E-commerce industry
Understanding of E-commerce production
Interest and understanding of Photography
Interest and understanding of Post Production and photoshop
Previous People’s management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience of managing and leading teams of operational staff in a high volume production environment.
Excellent communication, organizational and people management skills.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
Up-to-date technical knowledge in photography and lighting techniques
Pproficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Capture One.
Strong leadership skills and a team player with the ability to delegate

Key Responsibilities

Managing the day to day running of the photographic studio and employees
Making sure work is completed to a high standard and checking quality regularly against the style guide
Ensuring all employees are managing their time and are on target
Liaising daily with clients to deal with queries, enquiries and requests
Arranging bookings for concession clients, ensuring all data is accurate and products are coded
Dealing with technical issues in the studio and problem solving
Manage invoicing and studio administration
Manage and implement all projects, briefs, reshoots, and updates to Style Guides.
Continually looking at ways to improve workflow and productivity, whilst focusing on quality.
Organising and conducting model castings ensuring the best rates possible
Logging all sick and holiday for studio team and creating monthly reports
