Role: HR Information Systems - Project Manager
Purpose of role:
To ensure the successful management of People Systems (HRIS) Implementation projects to achieve agreed goals and objectives.
Reports to: Head of People Systems
Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the planning, design, delivery and implementation of HRIS People Systems projects.Establish and lead project governance, risk management and project committees.Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects, including project resource management, communications to project team, stakeholders and executives, maintaining project plans, milestones and budgets.Work with HRIS people systems managers, system analysts and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into design, development, and implementation of specifications/plans.Partner with internal and third-party development teams to collaborate effectively to deliver the system design, configuration and testing deliverables on time and to agreed quality.Manage project risks and issues, ensuring proactivity avoids delays and costs, yet ensures quality.Partner with People Systems Managers and Operations to manage transition to BAU and resolve post implementation issues.Essential knowledge, skills and experience:Educated to degree level with 5+ years of Project Management experienceHR Information Systems implementation experience is highly desirableGathering and developing functional requirements as well as process development experience requiredThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment while maintaining a sense of perspective.Flexibility, curiosity, enthusiasm, passion.Very strong customer orientationPossess excellent planning and organisation skillsEffective problem solving and analytical skills essentialExcellent communication skills, with significant experience working across complex organisational structuresAbility to explain technical topics/solutions in simple languageDemonstrated vendor and budget management experience
