Sustainability External Affairs Manager

Based in our beautiful Global HQ in Dublin you will be responsible for the co-ordination, management and execution of the our ethical and sustainability external affairs and advocacy programme. This is to help foster relationships and build understanding of Primark among key external stakeholders and partners in the sustainability and ethical space, including NGO's, media and key opinion leaders internally.
We are looking for an individual who is highly organised, who has excellent communication and advocacy skills and has the ability to work in a high pressurised and fast paced environment.

We are also looking for:
- Confident communication: Develop materials and content to support the external affairs and advocacy programme and work in collaboration with the sustainability communications team, including preparing stakeholder communications; responses to stakeholder and partner enquiries and indepth briefing materials.
- Strong organisational and planning skills: Organising and managing the programme using insights, intelligence and research within key markets in line with key business priority areas and aligning with Head of Sustainability Communications, Head of Public Affairs and the Social Impact Stakeholder Manger.
- Ability to adapt and embed new skills within the business: Support the Primark Cares, Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability team to build and foster relationships while advising on business critical issues which may impact our business.
- Interpersonal skills: Develop, maintain or support critical external stakeholder and partner relationships in ethics and sustainability.
